Mystiko is a house in a hidden street of the old town of Chania, Crete. A minimalistic, yet sophisticated design incorporates the variety of influences left on the biggest Greek island, present as well on the windows and doors of this hidden gem.
The Byzantine style of Venetian windows with a U-shape on this stone-built house, faithfully portray the peculiarity of what this culture left as a heritage on Crete.
The design incorporates as well a layered spatial view through different windows and doors’ shapes reflecting the peculiarities of history imprinted on Mystiko and on Crete itself. The earthy tones of the colors used in the design depict the Mediterranean soil and its dry but rich vegetation.
