Sebastião Salgado is a Brazilian social documentary photographer and photojournalist. His photography attempts to deliver dignity and strength to the photographed, be it people or nature, in a movement that seeks to reveal what moves the subiects and to understand their strength and capacity for resistance.
With a desire to keep the solemnity and grandeur of the photographic compositions, the design focuses on black, white and gray, maintaining the dominant conceptual and analog glance. The result is, just as Salgado’s photography, a realistic, yet impressive design emphasizing his aesthetics.
